It performs ok but nothing any other pro iron can’t do. The ceramic plate thingy ended up snagging at the tip more than I cared for. If i saw it on sale for $40 i’d get it, but not for the full price.

One of my co-workers tryed her HAI flat Iron on my fine curly hair and we could not beleive how straight it made my hair and it stayed straight for the whole week. So I bought one for my self. I kept telling my daughter about how wonderful the HAI flat Iron was, so this week I bought one for my daughter she can not wait to receive her own HAI flat Iron. We both have fine curly hair and this has been the answer to our pray of keep our hair straight.

By far one of the best straighteners I have ever invested in. This is my second one and the durability is far more superior than any other product in the market. Have never had any type of problems with the cord or anything. Would and did recommend it to a friend and she bought hers and loves it. Would recommmend it to everybody!

I flat iron my hair daily, and this one is the best I’ve ever tried. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with wavy or curly hair.

this straightner works great and last a long time
after about 3 years you should replace it though…it straighten your hair SOOO good. My mom has it, my stylist has it, and my friend has it and it makes your hair silky and super straight

I have bought this model and used it for the past 4 years. Also, I get my hair thermally reconditioned every 5-6 months and have been doing so for the past 6 years. People are always amazed at the quality of my hair. They think it shouldn’t be as long or healthy! This flat iron is very gentle on your hair.

I am very happy with the results. My only complaint is that it needs to be replaced every 2 years.
Am very satisfied with the product, but why the short life span?

I LOVE my HAI straightener! I bought mine 6 years ago and it still works just as great as it did! I couldn’t be more thrilled. I’m not sure why so many others keep referering to a short life span..maybe the newer models don’t last as long? Who knows?! I will say 6 years ago I paid over $200 for mine..so the prices I found it for today on this site is amazing!

i’ve been a stylist for 25 years and have had every flat iron on the market at some point. this is by far my favourite. its on all day, and i’ve had it for over 2 years. there is something different about the way the hair feels and straightens with this iron. the curliest hair is stick straight and feels like silk. everyday users of this iron cannot believe how conditioned their hair is and how good it feels after every use. the plates are smooth and never snag or pull, even though the heat is less than some of the ‘new’ flat irons on the market, it still straightens faster and nicer than those that go to 430 degrees. wonderful iron. if you watch for sales, you can get this iron far less than the list price. i have the gold and the blue version of hai, and like the blue far better.

This is the worse flat iron! It makes my hair dull and gives me split ends. I’ve stopped using it. Would not recommend it. It bought it a salon for $99. Total waste of money! I have the one with blue plates.

Of all the straighteners I have purchased this is one of the worst. I bought it because of all the reviews and I was pretty disappointed when I started using it. I have straightened my hair everyday for years and surprisingly my hair isn’t as dead as it should be, considering the products and straighteners I have used we’re secret saviors, but this straightener has fried my hair to hell and has fried it so badly that there are little hairs sticking out everywhere on the top of my head because of such bad split ends. I do NOT recommend this straightener if you straighten your hair often and have naturally curly hair.

Mine lasted for 5 years. It could have lasted long if I took careful of it. Although it is pricey it really lasted long.

I have been using this product for a few months now. It has worked perfectly, but I am a bit worried about what other reviews say about frying hair. My HAI leaves my hair really straight and shiny, so I’m not sure. I love it though. Wouldn’t change it.
