I’ve had this product for just over a year and it’s alright. It performed much better in the beginning (as with most straightners i guess). I wouldn’t buy a Metropolis again though. I’m currently waiting for my Ozon to arrive, I hope all the reviews are legit!

I used a friend’s metropolis straightener and it was pretty good. it made me hair reallly smooth. i think i like the titanium plates!

I received this for Christmas after asking for a CHI and was at first disapointed but after using it, thrilled, it made my thick hair smooth as silk with only one pass on each section and held up to our humid FL weather all day to be still straight when I returned home. I am on this site looking or a new one because my puppy got tangled in the cord and pulled it off the counter and it broke . I am thinking of getting the Ozon one based on all the amazing reviews!

I have 2 Chi flat irons, one broke after 2.5 months, the other one I just hate it. The metropolis flat iron is so much better I have thick curly hair and this flat iron staightens it with just one pass through the Chi took 2. I can do my hair so much faster now and it looks better.

Love the product but it only lasts about 2 years. We’re on our 3rd one now.
