I had borrowed my friends chi-iron, and fell in love with it, so really wanted to buy one for myself. After reading the reviews about how a lot of people had problems with it, I decided to find something else that was comparable. I bought the solia 1″, and it works just as good as the chi that my friend has.

I absolutly love this hair straightener! After i straighten my hair with it my hair is always very smooth and never damaged. Unlike my last straightener my hair actually stays straight the whole day! I have a 1 1/2 inch. I used to have a chi but i will never go back! Thank you solia!

I am very mad that it only lasted 5 months, and started falling apart. now it takes about 20 minutes to heat up, which is way too long. never again!

i have a really gay straightener so i came here to find one that i should buy next and after looking at some of these reviews i’ll prolly buy this one, it seems pretty good and with my naturally wavey hair it just don’t go with my face it looks so much better sraight.

ABSOLUTELY LOST MY MIND WHEN IT DIED AND STARTED FALLING APART AND DONT HAVE A VALID WARRANTY. BOYFRIEND USED SOME SODER AND WIRE TO JERRY RIG IT TOGETHER, BUT TAKES 20 MINUTES TO HEAT UP. WASTE OF MONEY

Even on the lowest setting, I had damage to my hair. I thought by buying an expensive flat iron, this wouldn’t happen anymore. I guess I was wrong.

i couldnt be happier with this product, ive been straightening my hair for a while and have had probably five different straightners, and this is by far the best one. i was a little hesistant to make the splurge, but it turned out to be well worth it. My hair doesnt get caught in it, it stays straighter than it ever has when it deals with humidity, and it heats up really quickly. I have really curly hair and this is the perfect straightner to deal with it. I couldnt recommend it more.

I was using Secret to Beauty flat iron from a beauty supply store which works pretty well on my hair but I just thought it took too long to straighten. I have thick, curly hair…so I figured I would try out the Solia since it has been highly rated. Well, so far I love it. I only have to go over each strand once so it cuts my straightening time in half. I would highly recommend this product.

Good flat iron, but mine has gone down in performance level after 2 years not bad but I think for the price it should last longer than that, what can you do. Any way for those of you who love it and want another one you can find it at xxxxxxxxxxx they have this one and bunches of others for an amazing price.

The flat iron is the best I’ve ever had..the only downside is I find it very drying..however, I have not been using product in my hair prior to protect it, so it’s my own fault. Overall, it’s fantastic…I recommend to all girls with thick, curly, frizzy hair..I was once called Frizzy Lizzy — NO MORE!

This straightener is absolutely terrible. DO NOT BUY IT. I saw a majority of good reviews on this product and decided to buy it. It came this morning, and I just finished using it. The plates snag my hair at least every other time I straighten a section of hair. Not to mention the fact that it doesn’t straighten my hair anywhere near as well as my $50 straightener from Target. I’m so mad I wasted so much money on it. This is definitely not worth the money.

I’ve seen this system used and appreciated on thin or medium thick hair. However, on my extremly thick wavy hair, its not that great. DONT GET ME WRONG! My hair does INDEED go straight, and if I keep going at each strand 10-15 times it’ll be paper thin but dry and brittle looking! But I found the SEDU works best for extremely thick hair… The Sedu left my hair straight and smoooooooooth

This is the best straight iron, I have super tight, small curls that have a mind of their own, my hair only stays straight when I get it professionally done, this striaght iron soooo helps, no more spending a $120, yeah SOLIA

I love this straightner!! I have had mine for about a year and it is still doing an awesome job on my curly, curly hair!!! I think its much better than any straightner ive ever had and i would buy one time and again if i had to!!

I bought this iron a little over a year ago and it has died already! It worked well but for the money should have lasted longer. My brother tried to work on it because we determined it was a short in the wiring…problem was that short turned out to be in the swivel cord end attached to the iron. The inside was completely worn out! Would not recommend this one!!

Hey I just tried out this straightener and it worked so well! I don’t think that I have ever tried one as great as this! It works well especially if you are really trying to get the perfectly straight look!

I have had this flat iron for almost 3 years now. I absolutely love it!! The only problem now is that the tourmaline is coming off. I’m debating on purchasing the same one or going with something different. I highly recommend purchasing your flat iron on xxxxxx. They have great prices!

I have had this for less than a year and already the tourmaline is wearing off. I have very thick slightly wavy hair. It takes a couple of swipes on each strand to get it straight enough. Hair can get kind of frizzy. I’m going to try another brand.

i highly recommended this product it works really good if u have good healthy hair. hair must not be frizzy or dry. then it works even better. loooove it!!!

I’ve bought Solia in 2003. Now it dies, I gotta get me another one. I highly recommend this product because it was so easy to style my hair with it and my hair always looks nice.

Best straightener I have used. I have been a faithful CHI user for years, but decided to try something else because every CHI that I have owned has died within 2 years. I highly recommend this straightener. It instantly makes my hair feel smooth. As long as it lasts I will be 100% satisfied

I liked the straightener when i first got it then after awile the light would not turn on soo it woud’nt heat up soo i had to either bang it, shake it, or restart/test it and half the time none of that works. THIS STRAIGHTNER IS A PIECE OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had this for about a year and half. Has always worked well on my med thick, slightly wavy hair until the plates recently fell off. The glue has just appeared to have stopped holding them on. My only complaint is for this price it should have lasted longer.

I love this straightener! it works so good and makes my hair very silky and smooth. I like the heat control settings on it alot, it goes from 140, 230, 300, 370, and 450 so whatever your type of hair is, theres a good setting on the straightener. It heats up fully in about 30 seconds. I was glad I spent the money I did on it, TOTALLY WORTH IT. It’s a bit hefty and it doesnt have a lock on it, but those are my only complaints.
